RUIN, REBORN, REVENGE is a grunge revival collection inspired by 1990s counterculture and the idea of making old clothing relevant again. It uses discarded denim from charity shops, combining authenticity with sustainability. Each garment is created from second-hand jeans that are deconstructed and reconstructed into new forms. Original faded washes, worn textures, and distressed details are preserved to maintain character and history. Ice dyeing adds unpredictable, washed effects, symbolising how grunge has been overlooked despite its cultural impact. Versatility is central: adjustable, modular elements allow pieces to be worn in multiple ways, encouraging creative styling and reducing the need for new purchases. Oversized silhouettes, patchwork construction, raw seams, and distressed finishes reflect grunge’s rebellious attitude while modern updates keep designs current. Overall, the collection shows how discarded clothing can become adaptable, expressive pieces, proving sustainability and individuality can coexist.
