In collaboration with members of the Welsh Ballroom scene, this collection was created with the intention of displaying underrepresented local queer talent in their element. Each look was created bespoke for each individual by myself studying them at event, social gatherings, interviews for my dissertation and their social media. As individuals within this subculture, they want to stand out and be the centre of attention and win the categories they walk. The categories I will be focused on are as follows: EUROPEAN RUNWAY, VOGUE FEMME, HAND PERFORMANCE, BODY, SEX SIREN and finally REALNESS.

The Ballroom members I worked with are called 007’s. This means they are free agents and aren’t tied to house rules or history. This collection is all about making the client, the 007’s, feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Not matter where they go.
