Long Shui: A combination of the Chinese word for dragon 龍 (lóng) and feng shui 風水 (Fēngshuǐ) Long Shui is all about slowing down and taking the time to quietly rest in nature, away from noisy cities and technology filled lives. It’s about my lifelong love of fantasy combined with my heritage. It reimagines Chinese dress through the lens of elemental dragons and Chinese symbolism. It uses traditional Chinese elements and feng shui aspects to create character and story. As an aspiring costume designer, creating character, embodying personality and telling is story through dress is a vital aspect of my collection.
